View problem
Hi,
In session view, i can see all the measure bars i have created, let say 40 bars, but in Arrangement view, i only see 21 bars!?!
I can hear the music but cannot edit after 21 bars...
Any idea how to fix this?
Thank you
Jay

Re: View problem
Zoom out or scroll right in the clip view or arrangement view (not sure which one you can't see in) to see more. To do so, place mouse near the top of the clip or arrangement window until you see a magnifying glass icon - left click on the mouse/pad and hold, move mouse/pad up/down, left /right.

Hi Da Hand,
Even if i zoom out, from the measure 21 to the end, i see nothing, but i can hear the notes.

Re: View problem
Are you sure you are playing the arrangement and not the session clips? Use the "back to arrangement" button to make sure you do.jay99 wrote:Hi Da Hand,

Can you show me how to paste a screen shot in a post?
Thx

Re: View problem
you can't paste one.
you would have to host it somewhere on the web and then you can link to it.
when you reply to a post in this thread, there are some controls at the top of the "Post a reply" section.
there is one "IMG" that puts image tags into your reply (you can also just type them in)
you have to put the URL to your image in between those tags.
if you hit the quote button on my post, you'll see how i did this;

Ok, thx
As you can see, the arrows is where i stop viewing, but at the bottom, you can see there are notes at bar 22, 23 and so on.

Re: View problem
Drag the edge of the clip in arrangement view to the right to make it longer.

Re: View problem
Or just double click the clip overview/zoom bar to fully zoom out.
Activate info view (view menue), hover the mouse over the zoom bar.

That image isn't consistent with your claim that "I can hear the music but cannot edit after 21 bars..." If you made a clip of 40 bars and end the clip at 21 bars, then bars 22 to 40 will never be heard.jay99 wrote:Ok, thx :)

The only exception would be if you played the 40 bar clip from Session instead while the rest of the tracks played from Arrangement.

Thx.

Re: View problem
Thx Tarekith.
I tried but i was not using the right way to select all the clips.
Not it's working.
I'm getting better!
But i don't understand why i have to drag the clip to see all the notes, i should already see them no?
I'm really wondering why it did stop at bar 21??
Thx!
Jay

Re: View problem
Hi,
When i drag the clip, i got a new problem...
In the session view, i can see all the piano notes, until bar 41:
But in Arrangement view, i only see notes until bar 20:
Any idea why?
Thx.

Re: View problem
The clip in Session and the clip in Arrangement are not the same clip. They are separate independent clips. Copy the clip from Session to Arrangement again and make sure the timeline is 30 bars long.jay99 wrote:in Arrangement view, i only see notes until bar 20…
The clip itself has a length and the placement on the timeline determines for how long that length will play. If you place 20 bars only these will play, if you place 50 bars the 40 bars will play and then it will start from the beginning and play the first 10 bars again (assuming loop in the clip is "on").
The start marker also affects playback so watch that carefully.
