Options.txt file error at startup

Post by miyaru » Mon May 28, 2018 2:30 pm

I get the Options.txt error at startup, stating thinning agrressiveness is not valid or so. So I removed that part from the Options.txt, but the error remains.....

Where do I find the Options.txt normally on a win10 machine? Maybe I altered the wrong file......

Any help is appreciated!

I have the same error, that The Thinning Entry is invalid....
I worked thru L8 L9 L10 so far and the results where needed - finer automation lines.
So why does it not work anymore in the newest version?

On the beta it was mentioned that the thinning option was now deprecated. No reason was given.

Strange, but I suspect they are moving thing around under the surface of the automation. I guess version 10.2 or 10.5 will bring something big for this dept.

This functionality was removed in 10.0.2 due to some behind the scenes changes that made it largely unnecessary. Please remember that option.txt functionality is unofficial and unsupported and could be changed or removed at any time.
