Can I disable/alter the "All Notes Off" behavior w/space bar

Post by Cuica man » Wed Jun 27, 2018 9:00 pm

I’m running into this problem and all I can find out about this is on a 2011 “Answers” post https://www.ableton.com/answers/can-i-d ... sport-stop
“Can I disable/alter the "All Notes Off" behavior when hitting transport Stop?”

I have a midi synced hardware and don’t want it to stoped when I change sessions
Tried a few midi filter and thought there would be a max for live device.. but nothing
Anyone know what I’m even talking about?

I don't think that filtering within Live is possible.
But you could try a utility like MidiPipe (Mac) or Midi-OX (Win).

you could use the "Stop All Clips" button.
But if your synth gets the clock from Live it would stop anyway, when you load a new set.
Maybe if you synced both live and the hardware to an external MIDI clock this would work.
