Hi
I am building songs in live5 beta versions and i am worried that i am going to be stuck in a gap when the last beta expires and I can get my hands on the full version. Will it be a smooth transition? or will there be a couple of weeks where there will be no live5 that i can use?
Any one know?
crossover time from beta to actual full version of live5?

ABIT NF7+AMDXP@2500, RME Multiface, TC Powercore Element+Virus, UAD-1, Nord Lead2, Reason2.5, impOSCar, Microtonic, Reaktor5 and some other stuff...

Friendly tip to anyone using the beta: Play it safe! PLEASE KEEP BACKUPS OF YOUR PROJECTS -- including the original Live 4 versions and all included stuffs.
Never entrust your valuable compositions and arrangements entirely to a beta. There's no guarantee that things will remain compatible. This is the case not just for Ableton, but for any beta from any company. To improve a program, sometimes developers have to "switch horses in the middle of the stream," so to speak. Nothing wrong with this, you just have to take sensible precautions.
Of course I'm hoping everything will go 100% smoothly, and expect that it probably will. But the smart money is on backups. That way if file formats change or something, your hard pre-beta work won't be lost. Better safe than sorry, yadda blah yak. :-)
