Linking 2 laptops on stage(Ableton Link)network reliability

Hi.
Im doing a gig this Saturday. We are two musicians using Ableton Link to link two macbook pros. We create a network in OS Sierra and connect to it. It worked flawlessly in all our rehearsals. I have doubts about the reliability of this Mac OS network in a packed 1000 people venue. Does anyone have any experience or can give any advice on this?

my advice is to always use a wired network when possible...

Mine as well. Of course cables can get yanked, so use tape, braces or whatever is needed.
