Future Sounds Of Me?

Post by newagecitizen » Fri Jan 17, 2003 12:23 am

I am a newbie to all of this and was curious as how you come across/develope your loops for your songs? I really would appreciate feed back of any sort. Please be kind and easy on me... I am just a little kiddy in this intimidating world of music creation. Thanks guys! :D

i use a prgram called muzys (http://www.muzys.com) to create some of my loops. all my other loops are just random bits of audio (speeches, drum hits, found sound, recordings of me banging/hitting/scraping/breaking/abusing/scratching/smashing/rubbing/twisting stuff) that i throw into live, tear to shreds with pluggo, and then reorganize into something loopable.

Dirtystudios,
Is there a manual for Muzys? I got the freeware version from Computer Music magazine and I need a manual. How did you approach learning it?

I probably did not look hard enough for the tutorial in the December issue. I'll keep looking.

Hey GMB would you like to talk sometime?

Dirtystudios I am currently downloading the demo! Thanks for the recomendation.

Paraplex I owned fruity loops at one time. Though it was over my head. I am just an idiot writer. I know nothing beyond my own writing. So it was a wee bit to technical for my virgin eyes. But I will download it again and give it another swing. thanks!

the manual for muzys is here, download it or read it online:

http://www.muzys.com/support.html

muzys is the shit. it rewires (windows only), you can do crazy cool stuff, pretty quick. hosts vst's & vsti's. it's $125 and you get free upgrades for life. the support team (i.e. jo) is really cool and it's totally skinnable. i suggest it to anyone.
