Cannot save Live 10 project

First I have to say (perhaps you agree with this) - the higher Live version the more problems I have.

When saving I get this message:

"The file/folder...... is locked and in use byu another process"
any idea how to fix this ?

Sounds like another process accessing the file you are trying to save (antivirus or if you have it in a monitored folder for dropbox/google drive etc then it could be trying to upload changes when trying to save).

dropbox doesnt interfere with ableton. can't speak for google drive.

It can (or certainly use to) if you save your projects to the sync folder and the file happens to be large or has additional samples that also need to be saved. Dropbox can start uploading changes before the file is finished saving which locks it and causes an error. May not happen all the time but I remember it happening years ago for some users.
