Dear Abletoners,
I have an ALESIS V49 plugged via USB into my computer. How does one reduce MIDI latency?
It's unplayable at the moment
Thanks

Re: controller latency
PC, Windows 10, quad core i5, 64GB RAM, it's like that without softsynths
usually can run loads of stuff b4 CPU problems
but this happens anyway

Re: controller latency
u know what. i'm an idiot. loaded a nu set. no latency. is there a general way to reduce tho?
Re: controller latency
A low buffersize is vital for low latency with softsynts and stuff.....
Most run between 128 and 256 samples, and some even lower settings depending on their system and interface.
