External Instrument as Midi through Audio Interface??

Hey y'all peeps, I have a question I am interested in with all external instruments that I think anyone with any DAW will find useful because I haven't found anything online!
I know I can buy a midi cable, but I want to know this: I have a Roland Juno Di and a Zoom H6, and I want to use the Juno as a Midi. I don't know how to set this up at all. I tried many different things that I won't list, but my problem I think is in Ableton not recognising this synth because perhaps it is going through the audio interface, and also it isn't listed in its default choices (another thing I don't know how to fix). Any help on this would be absolutely awesome and would be much appreciated!

You can convert a ts cable into a psudo midi controller by converting audio into Melody/Bass/Harmony/Rhythm and assigning that to a VI or output to another external midi device. lol

But please list your interface and drivers and list your MIDI I/O and we can help you better.

Install the correct driver from the roland website to your computer, then connect the juno-di to your computer with usb cable. Midi over usb is a feature of the juno-di.
