ReWire slave VST availability

Why aren't vstis available in Live while being a ReWire slave? pls halp need halp pls :( :?:

Most DAW manufacturers do not allow their DAW to run VSTs in slave mode, Live is no exception. Reaper and FL Studio I believe are the two that I know of that can use VSTs in slave mode.

Also, no M4L devices or control surfaces (like Launchpad) will work when a Rewire slave. It is annoying, but it is what it is.

Push in Live 10, will work as a control surface in rewire slave mode, don't know about the others.
