midi knobs turning too slowly

The controller I am using has the knobs calibrated as too slow for ableton's knobs.

Is there a midi translator solution which can address this?

I am on windows 64 bit.

limitless relative rotaries.

So the strange thing is that encoders in racks, instruments/effects work fine, it is only the volume faders and sends that misbehave.

(This reminds me actually that Novation nocturn I once had had the same problems - with Ableton 7 or 8 at that time)

When you MIDI assign something you can change the Mode in a drop-down meno in the Status Bar in the bottom. It defaults to "Absolute", you can change to several types of "relative". Maybe that helps since your encoders send relative.

Thanks for the tip. Wasn't aware of this option. Relative lin 2's comp is the (only) one that works.
Very unevenly, though.

Its available in the bottom bar when mapping is taking place.
