TR-8 > Abelton audio effects not functioning on midi group?

I have a issue i cannot solve:

I use a TR-8 and use the max for life app ROLANDAIRATR remote, and in ABELTON i can hear the separate channels( BD etc) and also i can change them on my Roland and hear them, only i cannot put for example a Auto filter on them i hear no difference. What am i doing wrong?

Make sure that you put the Auto Filter on the track or group track that's outputting you Audio...
