hi
in Logic Pro there is a humanize option where u can increase it and it will slightly and randomly shift the position of midi drum notes to give a more human feel, how would u do that in Ableton standard edition?

Look for the swing function in Live. In the midi inspector there is an option for this. It handles both timing and velocity.......

EDIT: The link above is more about extracting grooves from audio. To get swing in Live, you'd utilize the Groove Pool. They have a bunch of Logic inspired grooves available.
