What is an easy way to do pitch automations in Ableton standard 10?

the envelope in the midi clips only do 5 semitones, I have apple AUpitch but its super glitchy (like only the automation will be soloed when I use it), and the midi effect pitch doesn't do automation

is there something im missing? or is there a free plug in I can download that can do this? I need more than 5 semitones

thanks!

The Pitch device does automation. In Session you need to have a Clip to record the automation into.

I can't recall MIDI Clips having a "5 semitones" envelope, not sure what you are talking about here.

in the envelopes section of the midi clip it does allow u to automate pitch but it only goes up and down 5 semitones, I know if I have sampler I can increase that range but I only have simpler

Sounds like you're automating the pitch bend, since Simpler only allows a max of +/- 5 semitones. If you're trying to do drastic pitch changes, you'll need to automate the transpose parameter. It's the third dial from the bottom right in 1-Shot and Slice mode and can also be found via the Control tab at the bottom right of the Volume/Pitch envelope box (this works for all three modes). The Pitch device will only modify the pitch when there's a MIDI note-on trigger.
