I've used Live for years on and off, I'll get heavy into it for a while and then I wont be able to jam for a while (work, family, etc), so I'm not a power user, which brings me to my question.
Does anyone have any tips/workflows for getting the most "bang for the buck" out of just a few clips.
In other words, if I have live recorded a few clips for each track (assume the basic drum, bass, lead, and pad tracks), can I achieve at least a few "different sounding" songs from just these basic clips.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I guess what I have envisioned is playing out each loop for each track, and then being able to modulate and change just these 4 or 5 clips so extensively, that they can become different songs.
I guess I'm trying to eliminate having to prerecord my samples and clips and just simply launch scenes with a button push.
Maybe Grooves is something I need to look into.
God I hope this makes sense.
Thanks for any advice.
