Live 10 Problem - Ableton Slow on start up

Live 10.0.5
Mac Pro 10.12.6
I find, overtime i start live, as soon as i go to do something, like click on a channel or something, i get the spinning wheel, and it hangs for about 10-20 seconds. Then it's ok.
Any ideas whats going on here? never used to happen in Live 9.
