Class compliant MIDI devices in Windows 10

What's a solution to getting USB MIDI class compliant devices to be recognized by Windows 10 when the devices do not have a manufacturer's driver?

I'm using USB 3.0 connections. I have one of the max 10 MIDI slots used already, so a lot 9f room. Refreshing up to date Windows drivers doesn't work. Looking at possibly replacing default Windows drivers with older versions...

What device is it??

I know that with my Korg midi devices, things are a bit trickier to set up. For all my othe midi devices, they should just work.

Two thugs I’ve had to sort with Korg devices:
1. Making sure the cable I used was for power And data. Not just a charging cable. Similarly, make sure it’s not a shorted or broken cable.
2. The Korg driver interface allows you to select between 32 and 64 bit. When I use the editor I need to switch to 32 bit drivers. When I use Live it has to be set to 64 or Live won’t see it as existing.

A class compliant device is one that does not require a manufacturer's driver; so I'm not quite sure what problem you're trying to solve.

I registered to reply... I too was having issues detecting the software in/out subdevices for a variety of midi hardware that uses class compliant drivers. The fix was a driver conflict with an Audio Controller (System Devices). Try disabling yours, reboot, plug in your midi device, and check if midi in/out is detected. If that worked, double check you have the latest installed and actually chosen (installing the driver doesn't always choose it).
