Live 10.0.6 + win 10 pro =disaster

Hi all just checking if anyone else has performance drop than the 10.0.5 versions.
Same project before upgrade running at 9% avg cpu, now minimum 13% ; had to increase buffer size to 256, before running easily at 64!!!
I am on a i7700k ++ SSDs + 16GB RAM + GTX 1060 machine with win 10 pro + motu 12/48 TB; and I had to rename gl objects in my m4l patches by hand!
A Disaster, I have a show on Tuesday-------

Nope, still runs as it did in 10.0.5, no problems here on Win 10 Pro, Live 10.0.6, Was using it all day yesterday with 10 tracks in an orchestral type of arrangement, only 22% load at the most busiest part (i7 4820K, 16GB)

mmm good for you, bad for me. I defenitely have a performance issue now. Need to pin it down.

btw, any maxforlive devices in your set?

Could your power plan might have changed. Mine tends to change to conserve battery power if I unplug power to the laptop which drastically increases CPU use.

No I try not to use Max devices as I personally haven't a need and have never had a good run with them in the past.

Hey there,
Mine runs good i think it's a machine driver problem not Ableton.
Windows update's install updates etc. but not the latest or the best drivers.

thanks for the suggestions. from my latest testings it looks as if the problem has to do with the motu, maybe something with the ASIO driver? Who knows.
Any way by adjusting the host buffer safety setting on the MOTU I get again decent results with TB.
