Auditioning various MIDI Files with BPM changes.

When starting a new Ableton project the first MIDI file you drag into the project changes the global BPM to match but I can't seem to figure out how to automatically grab the BPM from any additional MIDI files I may import into the project. Any additional MIDI files imported into the project gets changed to match the first MIDI clip's BPM. When I'm going through potential instruments for projects I like to have a MIDI clip run so that I don't have to manually be playing to hear how it'll sound. It allows me to make adjustments to the instrument while listening rather than going back and forth.
If I have a set a various MIDI files (all different tempos because they're different songs) how do I activate the MIDI clip so that the BPM changes according to the song's settings just like when you drag and drop a MIDI clip into a project?
