Hi I've just setup my new komplete kontrol a61 with the kontakt software etc and using monark and few others why when I play a sound I also hear a piano when I hit a key, doesn't matter what sound I choose there always seems to be a piano sound along with the sound I've chose,, why

Make sure you do not have Komplete Kontrol open in the background or a web browser open. Some have default MIDI input to play MIDI files.

Hi guys all sorted and working thank you, another thing now in an where you choose inputs etc theres a huge list but no komplete kontrol a61.

What am I missing

Do I need some sort of script and if so where from

What version of Live do you have?

I'm currently using Ableton 9.7.7 and I still can't see my a61 in the list in preferences, I can see my other keyboard and akai mpk25 but no komplete kontrol a61

Requirements for the A series are Live 10.05+ , It won't work under L9 as there were changes needed for it to work.

Should be, not 100% sure but hardware should work across all versions if the limits of Lite are all you need.

Does say MIDI Remote Control is available in Intro so should sems you would be ok.
