Change my voice?

Post by Spillby » Mon Feb 11, 2019 8:11 am

I'm thinking about making a song which is a dialog between three people. So for this song I need three different voices.

Which tools/effects in Live would you use to change your voice, so it can sound like three different people, but at the same time not sounding too unnatural?

Messing around with warp settings might be useful. Record your voice as an audio clip. Set warp mode on complex pro, transpose down a few semitones, then change the setting of Formants & envelope

Thanks. I haven't used the warp settings yet. I'll try that :)

This.

Complex pro for instance offers formant control which is geared for voices.

A combination of formant and pitch shifting can do wonders in voice disguising.
