Recording MIDI from keyboard and converting to audio track

Post by jehrenfeld » Mon Mar 04, 2019 3:05 am

I have a Yamaha MO8. I created a song using the sequencer on the MO8. There are 10 tracks in the song. I want to save that song into Ableton.
So, I created 10 tracks in Ableton and mapped them to the appropriate channels on the MO8. I clicked the record button in Ableton and all 10 tracks recorded to the appropriate tracks in Ableton.
Now, I want to convert those 10 tracks to 1 audio track so I can use it as a backing track when I play live. How do I do that?

Quick and dirty way? Create a new Audio track and set the audio from to 'Resampling'. Arm session record record. Start your MIDI clips playing and simply hit the record button at an empty clip slot. Any effects you've got in your Sends will also be recorded into the new clip.
I came for the
But stayed for the :x
