How do I get rid of the "Drop Files and Devices Here" window?

Post by Henry Robinett » Sat Mar 16, 2019 4:39 pm

Suddenly it's here and taking up way too much real estate. I must've done something. I don't see anything in the Info Window or in the View Menu. Or how can I at least resize it. I don't need it right now. Thanks.
All the best,

It's not a windows, it's empty space below (Arrangement View) or on the right (Session View) of the last track and before the Returns/Master Track section.
Not "suddenly" appearing, at all. It has always been there. Dropping a File or Device in there would create a new track of the appropriate type.

It won't go away entirely, it's only out of view when you have enough tracks to fill the whole tracks area. Or you adjust track height (Arrangement View) or track width (Session View) to push it out of view: Click+drag a lower/right track boundary for resizing, ALT+click+drag one to resize all of them.
