Recording USB-Audio with SPD-SX & Live 9

I've set up a Roland SPD-SX with Live 9 on my MacBook Pro using a USB cable. I'm able to record MIDI info just fine, but the audio tracks won't recognize the device or record any audio. Is it the fact that I'm running Mojave? I was able to get the audio to work on a different MacBook running High Sierra. That's the only thing I can think may be wrong.
