Comments in adg files

I was wondering if there's any way to document anything within an adg file or any other file type like it? What I'm looking to do is be able to make effect presets for instruments outside of the computer and document which instrument the adg file is used for and the settings of that instrument. Anyone know how to do this?

You can edit the Info View and ad your notes there. Right click on the device's title to access that.

edit: You can ad notes to chains inside the rack, individual macros and what not.
