HI there. Are there commands or rules I can apply to only stop a running clip a predetermined time after launching a new scene? I have a drone running in a clip and only want it to stop 4 counts after a new clip on a different track has started playing...
Thanks!
Stop Clip Rules
Re: Stop Clip Rules
Remove the stop button with a right click
Of course this means your other clip needs to be on a different scene....

Hi S4racen
I have done the Remove Stop Button thing in other instances and it works great. But in this case I don't want the clip to play out- I want it to stop once the newly launched clip reaches a specific point. In an ideal world I would like it to do the following:
1. SCENE 1 launches Track A Clip A.
2. SCENE 2 launches Track B Clip B- Track A Clip A continues playing (Remove Stop Button to accomplish this).
3. After 3 seconds an auto-follow command Stops Track A Clip A...

Re: Stop Clip Rules
launch mode of your clip: legato
copy clip to next scene, then select "stop" in follow action dropdown, and set position where the follow action needs to happen.
like this, when firing the next scene, your new clip will start playing from the position the original clip was at, and stops where you 'placed' the stop instruction.
of course, follow actions only occur when there is no open space (empty slot) between the clips on that track.
