I wish to be able to erase clear all notes in a clip in session view with the push of a midi assigned button, is this is possible?
I believe this may be a very standard function with push or on a akai MPC but can this be done in session view with a normal midi assignment or with max for live?
The scenario I would like to use it in -
I am performing live and I have a drum rack that occasionally wish to record midi and loop with. I would like to have a single midi clip that I can record midi into and leave looping. Once I've finished with that part I would like to clear / erase all notes in it then record again something different.
Can this be done with assigned midi / buttons? Using the mouse or querty keyboard is not a viable option as I will be performing live.
Any suggestions or workarounds welcome!
Is it possible to erase notes in a clip in session with midi control?

MaxforLiver can select notes, move them, delete them etc.
It's not the easiest of things to do....

Some controls have a undo function but I would say all in all not really.
