Live 10.1.0 vs 10.0.6 difference in audio playback

Post by last email » Fri Jun 07, 2019 8:01 am

There is a difference in playback audio quality between the latest version 10.1.0 and previous 10.0.6.
Projects that were made in v10.0.6, now sound a bit more harsh and thinner. Not a huge difference, but enough to catch my attention.
Anyone else noticed this?

This shouldn't happen.
Do you have any instance of Simple Delay and/or PingPong Delay in your set?

Yes, I have simple delay in a return track feeding some midi synth tracks. The same project (without any changes) sound smoother in previous version 10.0.6.

By the way, Can I install both versions (10.1.0 and 10.0.6) on my computer?

Why you asked if I have Simple DeLay and PingPong in my projects? The updated versions of Simple Delay and PingPong are causing the difference in audio output?

Please report this directly to our Support (as 10.1 is released now), ideally with an example set, your steps to trigger the issue (expected vs. observed) and a recent status report. We would like to investigate this for sure.
on page two and the posts following that. You may want to report yours too.
