OK so I know it's not perfect, but I've found a M4L device which is a pretty handy tool that can be midi mapped to the Deepmind

So far it's better than anything else I've tried, I don't think you'll be recalling presets. But at least I can record fader movement which is really what I was looking for

Hopefully this gets more work to make it more complete!

Hey Chilly , i had the same problem and was pulling my hair out.
I'm using DeepMind 6 with Live 10 Suite and bought the plugin , same as you from Momo at
https://jp-08remote.jimdofree.com/

It has great features and works well but i also wanted use the physical faders / sliders on the
keyboard and have those movements directly recorded / automated in Ableton.

My connection from keyboard to my Mac is via USB

In order for the plugin editor to work correctly the output settings for USB/MIDI on the keyboard need to
be changed from CC to NRPN . I didn't see you mention this in your previous post and wonder if
the editor was still working correctly regardless ?

Anyhow i emailed the plugin developer who replied immediately and wrote ...
"Ableton and other DAWs can only use Midi CC to control the Midi remote control, the DM12 sends NRPN data, Ableton does not respond to this.
If you want to use the DM12 as a hardware controller, you must use the DIN Midi cable in addition to the USB connection and set the "Midi-CTRL" in the DM12 to " CC".
Then you must use Ableton "Midi learn" in the Editor Track under "Configure" to assign the automation knob.
"

I need to purchase a midi cable and try it out...will leave a message here and let you know if it all works.
cheers

Hey All,

I have a work around for recording the automation into Ableton

I decided to make a video to help everyone out

Here it is:

Pics of the DM12 settings are in the video description

Cheers! :P

Using the Midi cable didnt work for me, re my post just above yours. It just created a Midi Loop.

Your workaround works, but there is a more intuitive way If you have the Editor from Momo, without having to cross reference the specific Midi Cc numbers in order to automate DeepMind parameters.

> If your keyboard is connected via USB then set the output of Deepmind USB to 'Cc' then
once the various parameters you want to automate are selected in the Editor, you can Midi Map each one to the physical faders on the DeepMind
and automate them from the keyboard itself. Maybe give this a try , it worked well for me. If you have any questions let us know, cheers
