Anyone on here having issues with midi playback in 10.1? Tried to search for a bit but couldn't find anything. here's my issue:
If i create a midi clip whether mousing in some chords or recording with my controller and pull up a VSTi or AU synth or sampler is seems as though some notes aren't actually playing back. This does not happen with any of the built-in Ableton instruments. the issue becomes increasingly apparent if you pencil in a bunch of repeating notes over a few bars. some of them will trigger some of them won't. i have even had repeating notes trigger different velocity layers in say kontakt even though they were drawn in all at the same velocity and have verified that the kontakt instrument did not have any round robin samples programmed in.
I have had this issue in the past with other DAWs and the way they handle midi on off messages but never in Ableton. Thanks.
