What is going on with these crashes?
What is going on with these crashes?
I have had this happen twice in the last two weeks. I am working on a project and then I undo something I did- for instance I accidently added a synth on a track that was supposed to have another synth on it. I hit undo while it was playing and now my files are corrupted and I cannot open the track.... Really sucks
Re: What is going on with these crashes?
How the hell can all the backup files be corrupt as well? It makes no sense as to how a previously backup file can be corrupt..... All of my backups minus the first two I was working on
I can load the files from 1:02 AM and 1:12AM but after 1:15am up to 1:40am I cannot open those sessions.........
There are 6 backup files that I cannot open. And that is why Cubase is King

Re: What is going on with these crashes?
Hmm, undos and backup files corrupted is unusual.
I would do a disk check quite urgently . This sounds more like a disk about to fail IMO

Please contact support@ableton.com
It could totally be something else, but it kind of looks like a bug triggered when tweaking midi notes in a certain way.

My NVME is less than a year. It's not my ssd. I use both cubase and Ableton.. never had a problem on cubase. This is. Three times in a week with Ableton..
I'm using lite 10.1
Also many other people reported this problem which is why there are videos on YouTube.
