Bought a Launchpad mk2 from the local music store. Brand new. Plugged the cable in and immediately got the fireworks display. The only way to properly use the launchpad was to wiggle the cord while gently pulling it out unit the boot up slider began.
Finally got my new cable replacement and it still gets the fireworks when plugged in.
Anyone else having the same issue
