Hi,
I'm doing an album and all of the songs save as (Song Name).als instead of one which saves as (Song Name).alp.als----I'm not sure why this is. I know .alp stands for Ableton Live Pack and .als stands for Ableton Live Set, but I have no idea how the .alp even happened. Will the .alp.als song export correctly? It plays back normally, but I don't want to continue working on it in that format if it causes problems when I'm finished and want to export. If anyone knows about this, I would really appreciate it.
Tracks for song saves as alp.als instead of just .als

Re: Tracks for song saves as alp.als instead of just .als
sounds like the alp extension part just snuck in there. Normally the last .ext is the extension so if it is "myAwesomeSong.alp.als" then the file format is als and your song name is "myAwesomeSong.alp"
Just do a SaveAs and delete the alp part, it's just part of the name and not an extension
