Hi guys,

I've just started producing again for the first time in years and am absolutely boggled as to why I can't seem to get a midi clip to increase in volume over a simple 8 bar loop in linked mode.

Here's a pic of what I have done as an example:-



Can anyone see anything obvious that I am missing?

What you do would work if you were working with a hardware synth responding to the volume cc.
What you want to do is automate your vsti’s volume parameter. It has nothing to do with MIDI.

Ok cheers mate, so to do what I want to do it's always a case of pressing A in arrangement view and drawing it in there?

I can't just create a clip with the envelopes I want in there and paste it to wherever I want?
