Cleaning Push 2

Post by Moturdead » Sun Aug 25, 2019 9:01 am

Hi Team,

How can I clean Push 2?

It has gone all dirty and some of the buttons need to be pushed hard for it to respond.

I believe it is because of all the pollution, dirt and sweat from where I live and the weather.

Please enlighten me and others on how I can clean this expensive equipment.

It has metal with rubber(i guess) so need help with some cleaning ideas.

Thanks a ton.

Assuming it's not too late for the rubber already: Has anyone here tried a rubber and vinyl conditioner/protectant product? like the kind detailers use on cars? or maybe the same stuff musicians use on their amps and other gear?

It's my understanding that alcohol, and citrus-based products like goo gone, will only degrade the rubber faster. I'm going to try one of these dry-too-the-touch rubber/vinyl care products. Carefully, of course ;)

but why? it will keep degrading so getting rid of it once and for all is the best way IMHO
