Apply velocity information to other parameter?

Post by firsttimeroller » Thu Sep 05, 2019 12:41 am

Greetings,

I'm wondering if it is possible to apply recorded midi velocity information to another parameter.

For example, say I record an extended performance with a midi keyboard (or my push). The velocity of each note is recorded and shows up on the little sliders below the notes can I somehow apply that data to the track volume or panning or some other automatable parameter?

Thanks,

Matt

you could assign velocity within your chosen vst synth
or use the Expression Control device in the Core Library of Live 10 (if you have it)
