I have a Yamaha Motif XS8 piano and I was wondering if there was a way that I can import the sounds in the piano's library into Ableton Live's library?
OR
Have my PC read the sounds on my piano and input them as MIDI in Ableton?
I just want to be able to get the sounds within my piano to be instantly read as MIDI input.

You can’t import them as MIDI. They’re sounds, not notes. Unless there’s software I’m unaware of, then you have to sample them via the audio interface. Pain. I’d just use them from the keyboard.

The XS8 has a USB port on the back that transfers MIDI. Download and install the USB MIDI driver from Yamaha and connect the piano to the computer using a USB cable. Then the piano can be used as a MIDI controller within Live.
