Sync Hardware Chain

Hey everyone, I am looking for some help syncing my hardware set up from Ableton. I am running Live 10 on a iMac.

my hardware set up consists of:
MS20 mini
Electribe
SP404
Volca Sample
Korg Monologue
Tr-8S
DrumBrute

My audio interface is a Scarlett 181/20

I have a midi cable going from the midi out of the Scarlett, going in to a midi splitter (Midi Solutions 1in 4out)

What I am trying to accomplish is sending a "start" from ableton so all the hardware is plaiying in sync with Live so I can jam on the hardware and have it record into Live.

Currently I have the Midi output settings of the Scarlett set with Track Sync and Remote turned on.

So theoretically when I press play in the session it should start the hardware chain playing, but I am getting nothing.

Are all of the individual pieces of hardware set to receive on the appropriate MIDI channels? You'll have to do this on the hardware itself.
