I wrote a script for my FCB Footpedal to do the things I need it to. I could do with a lighter alternative for gigging but I'm cursed with chronic skints disease so I have what I have.
I can't afford £550 on any controller.

Depends what kind of control.
Push is obviously a good option but if you have an iPad, touchable is great. I also use an app called metagrid which allows fully custom buttons to be created for keyboard functions so perfect to make a visual keyboard for edit commands.
