[SOLVED] [UX / settings] knobs and automation feel too sensitive

Post by cillajon » Wed Nov 13, 2019 3:29 pm

Greetings fellow musicians 🙂

Is there an option to change the behavior of the knobs and automation points?

Most knobs in Ableton are faster in one direction, than the other. I think it's like that, so you can fine tune settings in the lower Hz regions?

And the automation points feels like they are sitting on a rail and are being held by a magnet. I hope my discriptions are understandable 😅

This is a common issue that often has a bit to do with the operating system zoom settings and or using the absolute mouse mode as possible fixes.

Probably better to do the first option (should show up in searches), that would actually fix the issue. The secondary option is more meant for different types of interfacing.

Sadly I could not fix it with the first suggestion.
I found out the "Pen Tablet Mode" in settings is the same as the "absolute mode" in Live 9. This fixed it for me.
Thanks :)
