Hello kind hearted Ableton people,
I must know, how do I resize MIDI items in Ableton?
Just dragging the edge does this weird thing where it like.. clones the initial MIDI
item or something. This happens in reaper too but in reaper you have to click alt+click and drag
to resize the MIDI item without cloning it.
I would post images of what I'm talking about but I'm too lazy to
start a flickr account or whatever and upload images to it and then
paste the link in here...

That's usually called "looping", if you don't want it to loop you can disable it in Clip View."weird thing where it like.. clones the initial MIDI item"

That's really weird.

It’s only weird until you get used to it.
All DAWs have some things that seem odd for a while if you’re used to using a different DAW. Live probably more than most because of the very different session and arrangement views and how they interact.
