iCon QCon Pro X or other motorized mixer controller?

Post by Mage2k » Fri Dec 06, 2019 7:15 pm

I'm on the hunt for a solid DAW mixer controller with motorized faders to complement my Push 2 in the up to ~$1000 range and am eyeing an Icon QCon Pro X but am seeing some forums posts around the web with people reporting mapping issues with Live 10. Anyone have one and can comment on if that's still an issue?

Here's the others I've seen so if you have any comments on any of them or any I've missed please let me know.

* Presonus Faderport 8 or 16
* Behringer X-Touch
* Mackie MCU

Hi, I actually have the same situation at the moment.
I looked for all possibilities but finally I will chose the iCon Qcon Pro G2.
I also spoke to different resellers and they told me it should work absolutely fine.
It's not a big risk. The pricing of it is around 470€ and i could't find anything similar with all functions in this price region.

Why not others?:
- Presonus has no metering or pan knobs.
- Behringer X-Touch is not the "best" quality for this category.
- SSL Nucleus begins around 4200€.

Hope you will find something nice!

Have you received your G2 yet? If so, how do you like it? Any issues?

Hi,

i really didn't like the qcon G2 !
Very noisy... I'm use to the Faderport 16...
Now looking some informations/returns of using a Nucleus with Live 10 in 2020 !
Thanks
