Skins are enabled in Beta 18

I don't know if they were there in earlier builds, but they're there in b18.

It's also the first beta with language choices. Previously we could choose from "Without Japanese" and... well, nothing else. :-)

I don't have b18 on this box so I can't check the name, but the new blue one is really nice, it matches my house, my CS1x, and is now my official® new skin! nice!

Which one do you mean? I think Portofino and Tobacco look nice if a bit strange and maybe not too handy in on-stage situations ??? I'll stick to Default.

i'm digging the Clay skin
that subtle background color shift to a more warm tone makes it so much easier to stare at the screen for hours on end.

ya clay is the default one used on the beta i think

its not bad but some of the colors end up being too harsh for my eyes; thats why i stick with default 2.1 - its nice and smooth and doesnt ever make my eyes cross

i think what happens is once you work with this program for a few years you get used to your color scheme ..

if i change it all my clips are different colors and that screws up the color coding i have going on for my parts ;)

Yeah, I am now stuck between clay and mono19.

Oh well.

One when I am in the green, the other when.........

I never got into the darker ones, or the laser....Would one really be able to work in that environment?

I´ve a little improvement for quite all off them,
the nudging dot could be a bit more distinguishable from the background.

I mostly use the metal skin.

Steve,
What type of music are you bringing down out of the ever evolving spectral soniscape?

Haven't really tried metal....perhaps time for a change.

I do really wonder whether the skin makes a difference to the mood of the piece.

Cheers,
AB

nope, default is "default"
Clay adds a mildly warmer tone to the background.

I try to remix a bit everything, but mostly with a funky house techno note, a bit off metal not tried yet.

Battleship is the dark one I like, and there is one very similar to metal, forgot the name.
