audio programming

hello,


i was wondering if anyone could help me out. i am a begginning programmer ( bachelors degree in computer science ) in c, c++, java.
want to start getting into audio programming, ie making effects, basic synths, sampleing etc. would anyone out there know how to learn this. if there are any books or good websites, ive found some websites nothing really to helpful.. anyhelp would be appreciated.

go download the vst sdk from steinberg, that'll get you going

It's really easy to get going with AudioUnits, plus the developer tools are free.
