Master FX Printing

Post by headfullofradios » Mon Feb 10, 2020 8:16 am

Hello Abletonians,

I'm using an FX rack on my Master Output and am able to have a grand old time messing with the dub delays and white noise generators attached. However, when I record the automation, I have no way of actually separating out a track of the recorded wet signal. Anyone know a good way to do this? Should I put the FX rack on another track, send tracks to a Send, then over to that track for wet recording? I'm not sure if this is the best solution, your expert input is appreciated.

cheers!

Anyone? This has to be a common issue...

you can make the source of an audio track be from another track including the Master track.

is it that you're putting FX on the MASTER and want to record that wet audio or the FX are on any track? or all the wet stuff in general?

Or you can select Resample from "Audio From" drop down on a track you wish to record the master output from.
