Re: I can't listen to what I recorded
- Audio input device
- Record settings
- Set inputs correctly in preferences
- Recording to session or arrangement
- Do you see any signals on any of the tracks before you even record
- Are you actually hitting record
- Are you arming the track
- After record is there a waveform or any sign something recorded
- do you have speakers connected
- can you get sound from anything else
- Do you have a mic connected or a direct cable
- Have you set your audio device input settings
- Have you checked our audio cables and connections
- Have you ever recorded with success before
Probably another 100 questions I could ask which kind of highlights how many variables you have left to cover and how little info you have provided that could be used to even try and help.

In the absence of any useful details, I’ll try a wild guess.
Is the relevant track’s monitoring set to “in”? If it is set it to “auto” to hear playback.

2. Headphones not plugged in.
3. Volume down
4. Tracks muted.

Re: I can't listen to what I recorded
Sometimes, if you plug things or launch devices in the wrong order, it can be a problem. Ex. Start Ableton software first, then turn on audio interface, etc.
To fix my playback issues, today, I had to unplug the USB cable of my audio interface and reconnect it to my laptop. Then, I turned the audio interface on again and voilà. I could hear my playback again in Ableton Live 10 Lite.
