Motu ultralite routing

Hi there,
I'm trying to route audio to my Motu ultralite Mk3 3/4 OUT to send it to an external FX then back into channel 3/4 IN e.g.
I've set up Live to output my track to ext. out 3/4, In Motu's Cuemix the meters for outputs 3/4 are moving but there's no sound coming out of the physical outputs.... I'm pretty sure it must be some cuemix stuff but i cannot figure it out ...

I'd would be very happy if someone can help me with this, i'm scratching my head...

The channel numbers don't match between Live and Motu audio interfaces, so 3/4 on your Motu is probably 5/6 in Live (or 1/2).

The first 2 outs on the Motu are Main Outs, 1-8 on the back appear in Live as 3-10.
