I suppose you mean Grain Scanner vs Granulator 2? I'd like to know too, so I'm bumping!

There is a VST named Granulizer 2 and a M4L device named Granulator II.
IMO Grain Scanner is way better than Granulator II (which is great already), it sounds good with almost any sample and settings, while Granulator II requires more tweaking and stuff breaks down more easily into noisy crap (desirable sometimes, of course).
Never used Granulizer 2, which is way I skipped this thread, most likely it is why others skipped it too.
If it is really Granulizer 2 you are interested in, it may take a while until someone that has both Grain Scanner and that VST appears here.
