Ableton not responding on launch

Hi,

Just purchased Ableton suite
When I launch it hangs and is not responding for, well, ages now

Running mac OS 10.14.6

There was a cracked copy on this machine before which I have thoroughly removed, I can't help but think there's a file related to that tho and its causing this

Any help greatly received!

ok it eventually opened but takes around 10 mins to open each time

Sounds alot like my issue on W10, but its the "buffering sample indicator bar" at the bottom of Live that shows its taking forever. I have only 20 tracks too, Live 10 has been nothing but PIA for me so far.
