Live 5 mp3/wav anaylsis

Live5 is rescanning wav files each time I drag them into session view from the browser. I see that live must reanalyse mp3 files each time but WHY is it rescanning WAV files?

Live4 didn't do this.

Could it be that a new analysis file is being written to disk everytime you open them?

But why would you have to write a new analysis file? Do the beta's even create an .asd file?

Could someone using v5 tell me if it will be able to recognize v4 .asd files, or will I have to re-scan, edit, and save all my clips again?

Is it a bug...... You know what beta is right?

Put together all the details, search the beta forum, post the steps to
reproduce the problem.

yea this happened to me too.

all you gotta do is hit "save" in the clip view after the analysis is done.

i think its cuz the asd files in live 5 are different so you have to overwrite the live 4 ones by clicking save.
